π Watermelon Pupcicles
These **Watermelon Pupcicles** are the perfect frozen treat for your furry friend on a hot summer day! Made with just watermelon (and a few safe extras if you like), theyβre naturally sweet, hydrating, and help support healthy digestion. No ice cube tray? No problem β just freeze in a silicone mold or small cup!
Ingredients
- 3 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and rind removed
- 1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (optional, for creaminess)
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries or strawberries (optional)
- 1 tsp honey (optional, for flavor β only for dogs over 1 year old)
Instructions
- Blend: In a blender, combine watermelon and any optional ingredients. Blend until smooth.
- Strain (optional): For smoother pops, strain out pulp using a fine mesh sieve.
- Pour: Fill ice cube trays or popsicle molds. Insert small sticks if using popsicle molds.
- Freeze 4β6 hours or until completely solid.
- Serve: Pop out and let thaw 1β2 minutes for easier removal. Offer one at a time and enjoy!
β οΈ Important: Always remove seeds and rind β they can be hard to digest. Never give grapes, chocolate, xylitol, or onions to dogs.
Tip: For extra fun, layer with mashed banana or pumpkin puree. You can also use silicone dog treat molds for cute shapes!
