Ingredients
- Filling: 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Topping: 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook veggies: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion 3–4 minutes until soft. Add frozen vegetables and cook 5 minutes more.
- Make sauce: Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened.
