🎃 Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats
These **Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats** are a wholesome, delicious, and tummy-friendly homemade snack your dog will go crazy for! Made with real pumpkin and natural peanut butter, they're perfect for training, calming digestion, or just showing your furry friend some love.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pure pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (unsalted, no xylitol!)
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, combine pumpkin and peanut butter until smooth.
- Add flour: Gradually mix in flour until a stiff dough forms. Add water 1 tbsp at a time if needed.
- Roll & cut: Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into fun shapes (bones, paw prints, or use a glass).
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and firm.
- Cool completely before giving to your dog.
- Store: Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.
⚠️ Important: Always use peanut butter that does NOT contain xylitol — it's toxic to dogs. Look for brands with just peanuts (and maybe salt).
