🌮 Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients
- Taco Layer: 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
- 1/2 cup water
- Assembly: 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (drained)
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- Topping: Sour cream, guacamole, or salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook beef: In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain fat.
- Add seasoning: Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes. Spread in the baking dish.
- Add cheese & toppings: Sprinkle cheese, tomatoes, and olives over the beef.
- Top with dough: Unroll crescent rolls and place over the filling, sealing seams as best as possible.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until dough is golden brown.
- Serve warm: Let cool 5 minutes, then slice and serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
