Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine peanut butter and the egg. Stir until thoroughly smooth.
  3. Add flour: Gradually mix in the flour until a stiff dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it comes together.
  4. Roll & cut: On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters (bones, hearts, paw prints) or a glass to cut into shapes.
  5. Bake 18–22 minutes until the cookies are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Cool completely before giving them to your dog.
  7. Store: Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.

⚠️ Important: Always ensure the peanut butter you use does NOT contain xylitol — it's extremely toxic to dogs. Look for brands labeled as "natural" or "xylitol-free".
