  1. Mix dough: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, milk, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  2. Roll out: On a floured surface, roll dough into a 12x9-inch rectangle.
  3. Spread & fill: Spread softened butter over dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over butter.
  4. Roll up: Starting from the long side, roll dough tightly into a log. Pinch seam to seal.
  5. Cut: Slice into 8 equal pieces. Place cut-side up in a greased 9-inch round or square baking dish.
  6. Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.
