Instructions

  1. Prep: Have all ingredients prepped and ready. Cold rice works best for non-sticky texture.
  2. Cook hot dogs: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add diced hot dogs and cook 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté veggies: In the same pan, add onion and frozen veggies. Cook 4–5 minutes until tender. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Cook eggs: Push veggies to one side. Pour beaten eggs into the pan and scramble until fully cooked.
  5. Add rice: Stir in cold rice, breaking up clumps. Cook 3–4 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Add flavor: Return hot dogs to the pan. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir to combine and heat through.
  7. Garnish & serve: Top with sliced green onions. Serve hot as a main dish or side.

Tip: For extra flavor, add a dash of teriyaki sauce or sriracha. You can also swap hot dogs for cooked bacon, ham, or chicken.
