Makes: 2–3 dozen treats

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, combine applesauce, peanut butter, egg, and water/broth until smooth.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Gradually stir in flour, oats, and cinnamon until a stiff dough forms. Add more flour if too sticky.
  4. Roll & cut: Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters or a knife.
  5. Bake 25 minutes until golden and firm.
  6. Cool completely before serving — treats will harden as they cool.
  7. Store: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Tip: Use bone, paw, or heart-shaped cutters for fun! Always check with your vet if your dog has allergies. Avoid chocolate, grapes, onions, garlic, and xylitol.
