🍫 Gooey Brownie Pie
This **Gooey Brownie Pie** is rich, fudgy, and intensely chocolatey — a decadent dessert that combines the best of chocolate pie and brownies in one buttery crust. Perfect for chocolate lovers and easy enough for any occasion!
Ingredients
- Crust: 1 (8-inch) chocolate or graham cracker pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- Filling: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter: In a saucepan or microwave, melt the butter completely.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour into crust: Carefully pour the batter into the pie crust.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft (it will firm up as it cools).
- Cool completely before slicing — this helps it set and creates that perfect gooey texture.
- Serve: Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired. Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Tip: For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder or add 1/4 tsp espresso powder. You can also swirl in peanut butter or caramel before baking!
