  1. Cook beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season: Stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add beans and tomatoes: Stir in beans and diced tomatoes with chilies. Heat through.
  4. Assemble: Open the bag of Fritos and push chips down to form an even layer.
  5. Layer: Spoon hot beef mixture over the chips. Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
  6. Melt cheese: Microwave the open bag for 30–60 seconds, or until cheese is melted. (Or broil in an oven-safe dish for 2–3 minutes.)
  7. Add toppings: Top with sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, or any favorites.
  8. Serve with a spoon! Scoop and enjoy straight from the bag.
