🍫 Double Chocolate Coca-Cola Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 (12 oz) can Coca-Cola (regular, not diet)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Frosting
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 tbsp Coca-Cola or water
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in Coca-Cola, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Pour into pan: Spread evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Make frosting: In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in cocoa, Coke/water, milk, and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar and stir until smooth.
