π― Cheeseburger Burrito
This Cheeseburger Burrito captures all the classic flavors of a cheeseburger β juicy seasoned beef, melted cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles β all conveniently wrapped in a warm, flour tortilla. It's a quick, satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights!
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced white onion
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 2 tbsp butter (for toasting tortillas, optional)
- Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Season: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1β2 minutes more to meld flavors.
- Warm tortillas: Heat each tortilla in a dry skillet or microwave for about 20 seconds to make them pliable and easier to roll.
- Assemble: Lay a tortilla flat. Add a line of the cooked beef down the center. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Drizzle with ketchup or mustard if desired.
- Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll up tightly from the bottom to form a burrito.
- Optional - Toast: Melt butter in a large skillet. Place the burrito seam-side down and toast for 1β2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm β excellent with a side of fries, tater tots, or chips and salsa!
Tip: Add cooked rice, black beans, or jalapeΓ±os for extra flavor and heartiness. These burritos also freeze well for easy meal prep!
