Ingredients

Cream Cheese Frosting
- 4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and line with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in: Add grated carrots, nuts, and raisins. Mix until evenly distributed.
- Pour into pan: Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Make frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Frost bars: Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars.
- Cut into squares and serve!
