  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Stir in milk, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms. Don’t overmix.
  3. Shape the dough: Turn onto a floured surface and gently shape into a round loaf. Place on parchment paper.
  4. Air fry: Carefully transfer to the air fryer basket. Cook at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190Β°F.
  5. Cool slightly before slicing.
  6. Serve warm with butter, jam, or garlic spread!
