Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend chicken (optional): For a smoother texture, blend the cooked chicken with water or broth until it forms a paste. (Leaving it slightly chunky is fine too).
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the chicken mixture (or shredded chicken), egg, and oil.
  4. Add dry ingredients: Gradually stir in flour, cheese, and oats until a firm dough forms. Add more flour if it's too sticky.
  5. Roll and cut: On a floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into small shapes (bones, squares).
  6. Bake 20–25 minutes until the treats are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Cool completely before giving to your dog.
  8. Store: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for longer storage.

Tip: Always consult your vet before introducing new foods. Avoid ingredients like garlic, onions, or xylitol which are harmful to dogs!
